Graduated from Shaheed Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine program in Las Vegas. Dr. Vaghefi worked as a hospitalist for sometime before joining Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. He finished an additional fellowship in Transplant Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, Houston. Dr. Vaghefi is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and Texas board certified in transplant infectious diseases. Dr. Vaghefi is committed in providing excellence in his field of medical practice. 

Dr.Hooshmand received his Medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University of medicine , Tehran, Iran. He completed his Internal medicine residency and Infectious disease fellowship at Ascension St.John hospital and medical center, Detroit, Michigan . 

He worked as a hospitalist before working as an Infectious Disease specialist.

He has American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease . 

He loves teaching. He loves to travel and explore the nature in his free time.






After graduating from medical school from Syria, Dr. Youssed moved to the United States to pursue internal medicine residency At St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan then infectious disease fellowship at Ascension Saint John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Youssef joined Comprehensive Infectious Disease of Nevada in 2023.

Dr. Youssef is married and has three children. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with family.



Dr Chen grew up on the island of Hawaii. He graduated from Midwestern University Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He completed internal medicine residency in Parkersburg West Virginia, before finishing his infectious disease training at the University of Missouri. Following training, Dr Chen practiced infectious disease for three years in Reno, Nevada. He then moved to Las Vegas in 2021, where he now established residency and continues to provide quality patient care. On his spare time, Dr Chen loves to hike, golf, and travel. He is an avid snowboarder and enjoys bar trivia.



Dr. O’Reilly is a board certified infectious disease specialist and internal medicine physician. Dr. O’Reilly was introduced to the medical field when he served as a combat medic for the US Army Reserve. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he majored in microbiology. He then received a master’s degree in medical science from Yale University. While there, Dr. O’Reilly was awarded the prestigious Wilbur G. Downs Fellowship and conducted research on HIV and hepatitis C co-infection in Uganda. He received his MD and MPH from Tulane University. Dr. O’Reilly then completed his residency at Columbia University, and his Infectious Diseases fellowship at UCLA. He has practiced in Las Vegas since 2021, where he serves on the board of the Southern Nevada Infectious Disease Society. Dr. O’Reilly has a special interest in HIV care, NTM infections, transplant ID, and tropical medicine. Dr. O’Reilly is also passionate about medical education. He teaches medical residents, lectures at a nursing college, and hosts an infectious disease journal club.



Leilani P. Marcelino MSN, APRN, FNP-C. A family and an adult nurse practitioner who specializes in Infectious Disease at Comprehensive Infection Disease of Nevada. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Silliman University and then earned her Masters of Science degree at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.



Mr. Ricardo Asuncion, DNP, MSN, RN, NP is a nurse practitioner specializing in Infectious Disease. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from De La Salle University, one of the Ivy League Universities in the Philippines, on the Dean's List in 2014. He worked as a registered nurse for more than 5 years at various specialties and departments including cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, wound care, rehab, and long-term care facilities. He then pursued his career to become a Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors, from Chamberlain University obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Medicine in 2019. He completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2023 with a focus on Antibiotic Stewardship. His research provided a great contribution to the infectious disease community. He obtained extensive training from highly knowledgeable physicians in Las Vegas. Particularly, he has received vast training in Infectious Disease and antibiotic stewardship. In addition, he is very-well versed in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Primary Care. 

Ricardo enjoys a morning hike with his Silver Labrador on the weekend. He also enjoys music and plays instruments including the piano, drums, and guitar. Fun fact about him, he was a lead singer of a band prior to pursuing his career in the medical field. 

Lea Diola, APRN

Ms. Lea Diola DNP, AGACNP-BC is a nurse practitioner specializing in Infectious Disease. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Arizona’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She participated in research work and was a member of the Research and Clinical Scholarship committee at the College of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for over 5 years before pursuing her career to become a nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arizona with a focus in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Infectious Disease Society of America. She loves to travel and is an avid foodie.
